Eclipse notch alternative: build your workspace with NotchNook Pro

Choose an Eclipse notch alternative for presentations, file handoffs and coding agents. NotchNook Pro combines Prompter, Pockets and clipboard history.

Choose an Eclipse notch alternative for the whole project

NotchNook Pro gives your project a place at the top of the Mac: collect the files, recover the copied reference, check the next meeting and present with a script beneath the camera. If you are looking for an Eclipse notch alternative, start with the work you want to complete and build the Nook around it. [1][2]

Eclipse’s alternatives page says lo.cafe no longer resolves. That availability information is out of date: the official lo.cafe site is active, with Pro downloads and current releases. Pro brings together configurable widgets, Liquid Glass, multiple Pockets, searchable clipboard history and Prompter. Eclipse advertises a free notch app with a shelf, clipboard and Claude Code tools. Pro’s combination is especially useful when the same project includes research, file delivery and a presentation. [2][3]

Music controls, lyrics and Prompter in the same notch. The recording shows the real Pro interface and the switch between paced scrolling and voice following.

Open Prompter to keep your script near the camera, then return to music and widgets when you finish. Try that workflow on your Mac during the free 48-hour trial.

Give the presentation its own place

Prompter keeps the script near your camera, so your explanation stays close to the audience. Choose paced scrolling or voice following. A separate script window holds the material you prepare for lessons, walkthroughs and recorded updates. [2]

Open the Pro teleprompter guide and prepare a short product demonstration. Keep its supporting files in Tray and its key passages in the clipboard history. The notch becomes the point where the prepared material comes together.

Separate transfers with multiple Pockets

Shake the pointer while dragging to open a Pocket. Use more than one when the files have different destinations: presentation assets in one, the final handoff in another. Drag each group out when the destination is ready. Tray also gives you AirDrop, while the Drop Area includes conversion. [2]

Clipboard search, filters and categories help you find text copied earlier in the session. Open it from the notch or the bottom shelf. Read our file shelf guide and clipboard workflow to put both into the same project.

Keep the Nook on the screen where you work

Choose the displays where the Nook appears, including external monitors without a physical notch. Use Liquid Glass to let the wallpaper show through or solid black to follow the camera housing. Right-click the notch to add, reorder and remove widgets. [2]

Follow Claude Code and Codex sessions from that space, approve commands and answer questions. Check AI Usage for limits and renewal, then return to the files or script beside the task. [2]

Try Pro with your own project

Every feature is available free for 48 hours, with no card required. Pro costs $19 lifetime for up to two Macs, or $3 per month. It requires Apple silicon and macOS 14.6 or later. [1]

Download NotchNook Pro and test the sequence: gather the files, prepare the script and present it. Compare the experience with our best notch app guide and choose the workspace you want to keep.
