NotchNook Pro

Najnowsza: NotchNook Pro 2.0.8 (2074)

v2.0.8 (2074)

4 listopada 2026

License connectivity

License activation now connects through the official NotchNook website, avoiding hosting domains that some networks cannot reach. Your existing license, included Macs and saved data remain unchanged.

v2.0.7 (2073)

4 listopada 2026

Fixes and improvements

- Displays: connecting or disconnecting a monitor or a dock no longer leaves old copies of the notch behind in memory.

- Pulse: the Pulse widget uses far less memory and CPU while the Nook is open. Its numbers now change without the rolling animation.

- Always open on hover: turning it on or off now takes effect right away, without restarting NotchNook Pro.

- Glass: notification cards such as finished downloads, Claude and Codex alerts, video downloads and AirPods use the same glass as the open notch, with text that stays readable over bright pages.

- Live Activities: the Show in fullscreen switches now work on the MacBook's built-in display: the activities you turn off stay hidden while an app is in fullscreen.

- AI agents: Claude Code and Codex hooks no longer leave default.profraw files in your project folders.

v2.0.6 (2071)

2 listopada 2026

Correções de bugs e melhorias do NotchNook Pro.

v2.0.5 (2068)

1 listopada 2026

Fixes and improvements

- Messages: replies and files sent from the notch now arrive on macOS 26, including files from Downloads, and the message card shows its Liquid Glass right away instead of only when you point at it.

- Lock Screen: your MacBook now stays asleep when you close the lid while the lock screen is showing.

- AI Usage: the Keychain prompt for Claude Code appears far less often, and never while your Mac is locked, so unlocking no longer freezes.

- Startup: NotchNook Pro no longer reads your desktop picture, so it can't freeze at launch or ask for access to folders like Downloads. Settings previews use their own background instead.

- What's New: each version in the list now shows the day it came out.

v2.0.4 (2067)

1 listopada 2026

Fixes and improvements

- Software Update: when a new version is out, the notch shows it for a few seconds, even over music, then keeps it in a small bubble with a yellow dot while something else is showing. Updates are also checked more often.

- What's New: each version in the list now shows the kind of update and what changed, instead of repeating "What's New".

- AI Usage: the Claude card's sign-in hint is shorter and no longer cut off: run claude in Terminal, type /login, then press ↻.

v2.0.3 (2064)

31 października 2026

Fixes and improvements

- Notch: always appears and opens after you unlock your Mac. Before, it could stay hidden while Settings still opened.

- AI Usage: when Claude Code is signed out, the Claude card asks you to sign in instead of getting stuck on "rate limited". To see Claude usage, open Terminal, run claude, type /login, then press Refresh in AI Usage (allow Keychain access if macOS asks). Usage is checked less often.

- Glass: the closed notch no longer opens when the pointer passes just below it, over tab bars and toolbars. Now it opens only when you reach the notch itself, as in Classic.

v2.0.2 (2062)

29 października 2026

Correções de bugs e melhorias do NotchNook Pro.

v2.0.1 (2061)

29 października 2026

Limits the free trial to one 48-hour period per Mac, regardless of changes to the trial email.

Improves the first layout of the notch panel so an initially empty view stays within the screen.

Refreshes earlier Claude Code and Codex hook shims for agent session integration.

v2.0 (2058)

28 października 2026

Activate a license or start the 48-hour trial from the app.

Purchase lifetime or monthly access with the current checkout pricing.

Receive updates through the dedicated NotchNook Pro channel.

Temporary-file cleanup stays within the app’s own folder.

v2.0 (2044)

Improved hover responsiveness, smoother closing and faster note previews.

v2.0 — Launch

The first release of NotchNook Pro. Here's everything that comes with it.

Workspaces

  • Music — See what's playing, scrub through the song and skip tracks. Works with Apple Music, Spotify and more.
  • Calendar — Your upcoming events from macOS Calendar, with a countdown before each meeting.
  • Clipboard — Everything you copy, one shortcut away, in the notch or a bottom shelf. Search, filter and sort it into categories. Passwords are never saved.
  • Prompter — A teleprompter under your camera that scrolls at your pace or follows your voice, with a window to keep your scripts.
  • AI agents — Follow Claude Code and Codex sessions step by step, approve commands and answer questions from the notch.

Files

  • Tray — Drop files at the top of the screen to keep them handy, then drag them anywhere.
  • Drop Area — Drag files to the notch to keep them, AirDrop them or convert them to another format.
  • Video downloads — Copy a video link and download it straight into the Tray, trimmed if you like.
  • Pocket — Shake the pointer while dragging files and a Pocket appears to hold them. Keep as many as you need.

In the Nook

  • Edit Workspace — Right-click the notch to add, reorder or remove widgets by dragging them.
  • To-dos — A quick task list in the Nook and a full window with a month calendar and focus timers.
  • Timers and Pomodoro — Scroll wheels with haptics, several timers at once and focus music.
  • Notes — Quick notes, one click away, with a bigger editor when you need it.
  • Weather — Current conditions for where you are, with the day's high and low.
  • AI Usage — How much of your Claude and Codex limits you've used, and when they reset.
  • Mirror and Shortcuts — Check your camera before a call, and run your favorite Shortcuts.

Around the notch

  • Live Activities — Music, timers, meetings, downloads, battery and your agents show up around the notch.
  • AirPods and Bluetooth — Connect your AirPods and the notch shows them with their battery.
  • Volume and brightness — A cleaner replacement for the system pop-up, below the notch or inline with it.

Make it yours

  • Glass or Classic — Let your wallpaper glow through the notch, or keep it solid black like the camera housing.
  • Every display — Works on MacBooks without a notch and on external displays. Pick which screens get it.
  • Shortcuts and gestures — Open any workspace from the keyboard, and swipe on the notch to open it or control music.
  • Private by design — Your clipboard, notes and tasks stay on your Mac.
